Action Focus Goals

-put your values into action.

Two types of Goals
1. Result focus goals
2. Action focus goals: a goal to do a specific action on a regular basis

How to set action focus goals
1. Work backward
2. Set daily and weekly goals
3. Ask for help
-think and pray about what two goals i should set-

Characteristics of a good action focus goal (BASIC)
-B: bold
-A: achievable
-S: specific
-I: incremental
-C: clear

To be successful
1. Believe in the goal
2. Pray for it
3. Be willing to do what's requried
4. Visualize it
5. Building regular feedback mechanisms
-avoid legalism

Critical Thinking:reasonable and reflective thinking focused on deciding what to believe or do.
-purpose: the purpose of critical thinking is, therefore, to achieve understanding, evaluate view points, and solver problems.
-it uses reason, intellectual honesty, open midedness
-blindspots=things we dont see because we're stuck in one paradigm
-assumptions=things we just assume, take as true without proof
-viewpoints and assumpitions arise naturally through interactions with others and the world.
-embedded theology: the impolicit theology that christians live out in their daily lives\
-deliberative theology: the understanding of faith that emerges from a process of carefully reflecting upon ebedded theological convictions.
